Senior Consultant IAM
Overview
We are looking for an experienced Identity and Access Management (IAM) Senior Consultant to join our team. As a Senior Consultant, you will play a critical role in advising our clients on IAM strategies, designing and implementing solutions and providing expertise in digital identities management and access controls. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead IAM projects, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and contribute to the growth and success of our IAM consulting practice.
Your responsibilities
- Solution Design: Lead the design and architecture of IAM solutions tailored to customer needs, taking into account factors such as scalability, security and usability.
- Implementation: Execute the implementation of IAM solutions and ensure that project timelines, budget and quality standards are met.
- Stakeholder management: Engage with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams and security professionals, to gather requirements and align IAM initiatives with organizational goals.
- Technical expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert on IAM technologies, including identity provisioning, authentication methods, single sign-on (SSO) and role-based access control (RBAC).
- Training and knowledge sharing: Conduct training and workshops to educate customers and internal teams on IAM concepts, tools and best practices.
- Project management: Manage IAM projects from initiation to completion, including resource allocation, task prioritization and milestone tracking.
- Strategic consulting: Provide customers with strategic advice on IAM best practices, governance issues and compliance requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Keep up with industry trends, emerging technologies and regulatory changes in the IAM landscape and propose innovative solutions to improve clients' IAM capabilities.
Your profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field. Alternatively proven experience (>4 years) in consulting roles with a focus on Identity and Access Management.
- Extensive expertise in IAM concepts, principles and technologies, with hands-on experience in solution design, implementation and modern authentication and authorization protocols.
- Good understanding of industry standards and regulations related to IAM, such as GDPR, HIPAA and NIST.
- Mastery of IAM platforms and tools (e.g. SailPoint, Azure/Entra, Okta, Ping Identity/ForgeRock, OpenText/NetIQ or One Identity).
- Experience with Identity Lifecycle, User Provisioning, Directory Services, Password Management, Single Sign-On, Audit & Compliance, Identity Governance, and Role Management.
- Proven project management experience, including the ability to lead interdisciplinary teams and manage client requirements.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences in an understandable way.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM or IAM-specific certifications (e.g. CIAM, CIMP) are an advantage.

- Fluent in German and English.
